Refund Policy

1. Overview

Diversified Check Studio sells software licenses and account-wide entitlements that are delivered immediately and are intended for immediate use. This Refund Policy explains what is refundable, what is not, and how requests are handled.

This policy is incorporated into the Terms and Conditions and applies to all purchases made through DiversifiedCheckStudio.com.

2. Commercial Licenses

This section applies to the Standard, Nonprofit, Government, and Educational Institution commercial license types.

Commercial software licenses are intended for immediate use upon issuance. Once a license has been issued, activated, or otherwise used to access Diversified Check Studio, it is generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Diversified Check Studio may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund, credit, or replacement in exceptional customer service situations or where required by law.

If a license is refunded:

• The license is revoked.
• Access to licensed functionality ends.
• Any associated entitlements granted solely by that license are removed.

3. Business Asset Package

The Business Asset Package is generally non-refundable after entitlement has been granted to the account. If refunded, all associated premium entitlements are removed.

4. Lifetime Upgrade Protection

Lifetime Upgrade Protection is generally non-refundable after purchase. If refunded, the entitlement is removed and future upgrades are no longer covered.

5. Additional Business Licenses

Additional Business Licenses are generally non-refundable after the additional license capacity has been granted to the account. If refunded, the associated additional license capacity is removed where technically possible.

6. Nonprofit, Government, and Educational Licenses

Discounted commercial license types require customer self-certification at the time of purchase. Diversified Check Studio may request supporting documentation at any time to verify continued eligibility.

If verification is requested:

• The license may be temporarily suspended while verification is pending.
• If eligibility is confirmed, the suspension is lifted and the license remains valid.
• If eligibility cannot be established or the customer intentionally misrepresented eligibility, Diversified Check Studio may suspend, revoke, or require conversion to the applicable Standard commercial license.

Where permitted by applicable law, any refund otherwise available may be reduced by up to 100 percent of the refundable amount to recover administrative, investigation, processing, and related costs resulting from customer misrepresentation, failure to provide requested verification, or abuse of discounted licensing programs.

7. Non-Refundable Items

Except where prohibited by applicable law, the following are generally non-refundable:

• Activated commercial licenses.
• Business Asset Package.
• Lifetime Upgrade Protection.
• Activated Additional Business Licenses.
• Complimentary licenses.
• Replacement licenses.
• Reissued license keys.
• Fraudulent or abusive purchases.
• Services or entitlements already fully delivered or consumed.

8. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be submitted through the Contact page or by email using the contact information below. Include the account email address, the order or purchase reference, the item purchased, and the reason for the request.

Requests are reviewed against this policy. Where a discretionary accommodation is granted, it is applied to the original payment method through our payment processor, and processing times depend on the issuing bank or card network.

9. Effect of a Refund on Your Account

When a refund, chargeback reversal, or payment reversal occurs, the corresponding license, capacity, or entitlement is removed from the account. Designs, businesses, and other data created while the entitlement was active may become read-only or inaccessible until a valid license is present.

10. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review it. Chargebacks filed without contacting us may result in immediate suspension of the affected account while the dispute is resolved.

11. Taxes

Where sales tax was collected, any refund issued includes the tax attributable to the refunded amount, in accordance with applicable law.

12. Discretionary Accommodations

Nothing in this policy limits Diversified Check Studio from voluntarily issuing a refund, credit, replacement, or other accommodation when appropriate for customer service or where required by applicable law. A discretionary accommodation in one instance does not create an entitlement in another.

13. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The Last Revised date and version number will be updated when it changes.
