Electronic Communications Consent

1. Purpose

Diversified Check Studio operates online. This consent explains that agreements, notices, disclosures, and records may be provided to you electronically rather than on paper.

2. Your Consent

By creating an account, purchasing a license, or continuing to use the service, you consent to receive electronically all communications we are required or choose to provide, and you agree that electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.

3. Communications Covered

• Terms, policies, and amendments in the Legal Center.
• Account, security, and authentication notices, including two-factor authentication messages.
• Purchase confirmations, receipts, invoices, and license issuance notices.
• Support responses and service or maintenance notices.
• Privacy notices and any legally required disclosures.

4. How Communications Are Delivered

We deliver communications by email to the address on your account, by posting in the application, by posting on DiversifiedCheckStudio.com, or, where you have opted in, by text message.

A communication is considered received when sent to your email address, or when posted where you can access it. It is your responsibility to check your account and email regularly.

5. Hardware and Software Requirements

To receive and retain electronic communications you need:

• A device with internet access and a current, supported web browser.
• A valid email account and software able to receive email from us.
• The ability to view PDF documents.
• Storage or a printer to retain copies for your records.

If these requirements change in a way that materially affects your ability to access communications, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to withdraw consent without penalty.

6. Electronic Signatures

Clicking to accept, checking a consent box, completing a purchase, or otherwise indicating agreement in the interface constitutes your electronic signature. Electronic signatures and records have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures and paper records under the federal E-SIGN Act and comparable state law.

This consent applies to your relationship with us. It does not affect the signature requirements of your financial institution for the checks you produce.

7. Keeping Your Contact Information Current

You must keep your email address and other contact details accurate in account settings. We are not responsible for communications that fail to reach you because your information is out of date or because filtering blocks our messages.

8. Requesting a Paper Copy

You may request a paper copy of any communication we have provided electronically by contacting us using the information below. We do not charge a fee for a reasonable number of copies. Requesting a paper copy does not withdraw your consent.

9. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal takes effect after we have had a reasonable opportunity to process it and applies only to future communications.

Because the service is delivered online, withdrawing consent means we may not be able to continue providing the service, and your account may need to be closed. Transactional and security communications required to operate an active account cannot be delivered on paper only.

10. Marketing Communications

This consent covers communications about your account and the service. Optional marketing email is separate and can be declined at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop account, security, or transactional messages.

11. Text Messaging

Text messaging is opt-in and disabled by default. Where enabled, the SMS Terms apply.

12. Retaining Records

We recommend saving or printing copies of agreements, receipts, and notices. Historical versions of Legal Center documents remain available on request.

13. Changes to This Consent

This consent may be revised. The Last Revised date and version number will be updated when it changes.
