1. Overview
Diversified Check Studio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its customers to do the same. This policy describes how to report claimed copyright infringement involving material stored or displayed through our services, and how a customer may respond.
This policy is provided under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512.
2. What This Covers
Customers upload logos, signature images, background designs, and other assets to their own accounts, and may publish limited public content through support and contact channels. This policy applies to that material.
It does not apply to the design and layout of a customer's own check, which is generally functional and customer controlled, unless the material at issue is a copyrighted work reproduced without permission.
3. Submitting a Notice of Claimed Infringement
To report material you believe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at the address below. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it, such as an account identifier, URL, or file description.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. We may forward your notice, including your contact information, to the customer who provided the material.
4. Designated Agent
Notices of claimed infringement must be sent to:

5. Our Response
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the customer who provided it, and record the notice. We are not obligated to make a legal determination about the merits of a claim.
6. Counter Notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice to the designated agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party or its agent.
If we receive a valid counter notice, we may forward it to the complaining party. If that party does not notify us within ten business days that it has sought a court order, we may restore the material.
7. Repeat Infringers
We may suspend or terminate the accounts of customers who are determined to be repeat infringers, and may take earlier action in clear cases of infringement.
8. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
9. Trademark and Other Claims
Trademark concerns are handled under the Trademark Policy. Other intellectual property concerns may be raised using the same contact address.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised. The Last Revised date and version number will be updated when it changes.
