Subprocessors and Service Providers

1. Purpose

Diversified Check Studio relies on a limited number of service providers to operate the platform. This document lists the categories of providers that may process customer data, the function each performs, and how changes are communicated.

It is referenced by the Privacy Policy and forms part of the Data Processing Addendum.

2. How Providers Are Selected

Providers are selected based on the security of their platform, their contractual data protection commitments, and their suitability for the function performed. Each provider is bound by written terms that limit processing to the purpose we specify.

Providers receive only the data required for their function. No provider is authorized to use customer data for its own marketing.

3. Categories of Providers

Cloud hosting and application delivery

Runs the website and application servers and delivers pages and assets to your browser. Processes request metadata, IP addresses, and any data in transit as part of normal delivery.

Managed database, authentication, and file storage

Stores account records, business and bank account records, designs, templates, print history, audit logs, and uploaded assets such as signature and logo images. Sensitive account values are encrypted at the field level before storage.

Payment processing

Processes license and entitlement purchases, stores billing details, and manages checkout, tax calculation, receipts, and refunds. Full payment card numbers are handled by the processor and are not stored by Diversified Check Studio.

Transactional email delivery

Delivers account, security, licensing, billing, and support email. Processes recipient email addresses and message content.

Automated assistance and document extraction

Supports the Check Capture feature. When a customer submits an image of an existing check or bank document for extraction, the image and the extracted values are processed by a model provider to return the detected fields. See the AI and Automated Assistance Disclosure for detail.

Text message delivery

Delivers one-time security codes and account security alerts once text messaging is enabled on an account. Processes mobile numbers and message content. See the SMS Terms.

Error reporting and operational monitoring

Captures diagnostic and error information used to maintain reliability and investigate failures.

4. Reference Data Sources

The routing directory feature incorporates publicly published participant data. This is a data source rather than a processor of customer data, and it is described in the Routing Directory Information Notice.

5. Location of Processing

Processing occurs primarily in the United States. Where a provider processes data outside the country of collection, appropriate transfer safeguards are applied as described in the Data Processing Addendum.

6. Changes to This List

We may add, replace, or remove providers as the platform evolves. Material changes affecting the processing of customer personal data will be reflected here, and the Last Revised date and version number will be updated.

Customers under the Data Processing Addendum may request notice of new subprocessors by contacting us using the address below, and may object to a new subprocessor on reasonable data protection grounds as described in that addendum.

Current provider names, including the entity behind each category above, are available on request to customers with an active account. Contact us using the address below and identify the account making the request.
