1. Our Commitment

Diversified Check Studio is committed to making its website and software usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished state, and we correct issues as we find them or as they are reported.

2. Target Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA. This is a goal we work toward. We do not claim full conformance across every screen at this time.

3. Measures We Take

• Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• Keyboard operability for navigation, dialogs, menus, and forms.
• Visible focus indicators.
• Accessible names and labels on controls, including icon-only buttons.
• Form fields with associated labels and clear error messaging.
• Color choices reviewed for contrast in both light and dark appearance.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Support for browser zoom and responsive layouts down to small screens.
• A dark appearance option and multiple visual themes.

4. Known Limitations

Some areas are inherently visual and remain challenging:

• The check designer is a drag and drop canvas. Precise placement is easier with a pointing device, although element properties, coordinates, and dimensions can be set numerically through the properties panel as a keyboard-accessible alternative.
• Design previews, MICR band visualizations, and calibration test pages convey information visually. Numeric equivalents are available in the corresponding fields and settings.
• Generated PDF output is produced for print fidelity and may not carry a full document tag structure.
• Some third-party components and payment checkout screens are controlled by our providers.

If one of these limitations prevents you from completing a task, contact us and we will help you complete it directly.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

The application is built to work with current versions of major browsers and their built-in accessibility features. Because behavior varies across assistive technology and browser combinations, we welcome specific reports that identify the tool and version you use.

6. Feedback and Assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us. Include the page or screen, what you were trying to do, the browser and assistive technology you were using, and what happened.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to provide a plan or a workaround as quickly as we reasonably can.

7. Alternative Access

If you cannot complete an action in the software because of an accessibility barrier, contact us and we will provide an alternative method of completing it wherever we can do so securely.

8. Assessment Approach

Accessibility is evaluated through internal review during development, keyboard and screen reader spot checks, automated checks, and customer feedback. We have not commissioned a formal third-party audit.

9. Changes to This Statement

This statement is updated as the product changes. The Last Revised date and version number will be updated when it changes.
